Terms of Service
Last Updated: March 18, 2026
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Gaelic Report website available at GaelicReport.cyou (the “Site”). The Site is operated by Gaelic Report Learning Ltd (“Gaelic Report”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), with its registered address at Fitzwilliam Business Centre, 26 Upper Pembroke Street, Dublin 2, D02 X361, Ireland.
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Site. If you are under 18, you may use the Site only with the involvement and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.
2. Educational Content Disclaimer
Gaelic Report is an educational platform focused on arts, crafts, and creative DIY learning. The Site provides general information, learning notes, and workshop-style guidance about techniques, materials, and tools (for example: adhesives, vinyl application, glitter finishing, surface preparation, and sealing).
Craft outcomes depend on many variables, including material batches, humidity and temperature, surface porosity, tool settings, and user technique. For that reason, results can vary. Any examples, timings, or “what to expect” notes on the Site are illustrative and not guarantees.
Safety matters. Some projects may involve sharp tools, heat tools, aerosols, solvent-based products, or small parts. You are responsible for reading and following manufacturer instructions, working in a ventilated area when appropriate, and supervising minors. If you are unsure about the safe use of a product, do not use it until you have reviewed the instructions and taken appropriate precautions.
3. Description of the Site and Changes
The Site may include beginner guides, step-by-step DIY tutorials, materials and tools reference notes, seasonal craft themes, and workshop information. We may add, remove, or revise content at any time. We may also modify or discontinue any part of the Site, temporarily or permanently, without notice.
We aim to keep content clear and accurate, but craft information can become outdated as manufacturers change formulas, branding, or recommended use. If you spot a mismatch between our notes and a current manufacturer label, we encourage you to follow the manufacturer’s safety and usage instructions and contact us with the detail so we can update our materials notes.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Site lawfully and respectfully. You must not:
- Use the Site in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with security features or access controls.
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest content at scale using automated means without our prior written permission.
- Upload or transmit malware, harmful code, or anything designed to disrupt the Site.
- Submit false, misleading, or impersonating information through forms.
- Use the Site to send spam or unsolicited communications.
- Attempt to access parts of the Site not intended for public use or to reverse engineer any part of the Site.
We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe a user is violating these Terms or creating risk for others, including by submitting abusive messages or attempting to compromise site integrity.
5. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise noted, the Site and all content on it—including text, lesson structure, checklists, templates, graphics, design elements, and the Gaelic Report name and branding—are owned by Gaelic Report Learning Ltd or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial learning purposes. You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, publish, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission, except where such use is permitted by applicable law.
If you want to run a community workshop or classroom session using a Gaelic Report framework, contact us first so we can advise on appropriate attribution and safe use. We are happy to support community learning when it is done carefully and honestly.
6. Third-Party Services and Links
The Site may reference third-party tools, products, brands, or websites. Any third-party links are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites, their content, or their practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms and privacy policies.
7. Disclaimers of Warranties
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free from harmful components. We also do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any content. Craft guidance is inherently practical and context-dependent, and you are responsible for testing on scrap materials and evaluating suitability for your use.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gaelic Report Learning Ltd and its directors, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or anticipated savings arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Site.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total direct liability for any claims arising out of or related to the Site will be limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) EUR 100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
9. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Gaelic Report Learning Ltd from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your misuse of the Site, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your infringement of any rights of another person or entity.
10. Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labour disputes, pandemics, internet or telecommunications failures, cyberattacks, or failures of cloud infrastructure providers.
11. International Use

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Subject to mandatory consumer protection laws that may apply in your country of residence, the courts of Dublin, Ireland will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence under applicable consumer laws.
13. Dispute Resolution (Informal First)
Before starting formal proceedings, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Please email [email protected] with a clear description of the issue. We will aim to respond within a reasonable time, usually within 10 business days.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if continued access would create risk to the Site, other users, or us. The sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law will survive termination.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Gaelic Report regarding your use of the Site and supersede any prior agreements or understandings on the same subject.
17. Assignment
We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
18. No Waiver
If we do not enforce any right or provision of these Terms, that will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Changes will take effect 14 days after posting unless the change is required by law or relates to a new feature, in which case it may take effect sooner.
